Wedgewood Hotel – Display Ads Campaign


Goal
The Wedgewood Hotel launched a boutique Elopement Package tailored to couples seeking an intimate and luxurious wedding experience. The goal was to increase awareness and inquiries through a multi-platform display ad campaign that spoke to couples planning to skip the stress of large weddings without compromising elegance.
Thought & Creative Process
The creative concept revolved around a playful yet elegant message:
“We Do. We Did. We Eloped!”
This clever, rhythmic line positioned the package as both romantic and refreshingly unconventional, appealing to modern couples seeking simplicity and spontaneity.
Design Strategy Highlights:
- Two art direction styles were developed:
- Version A: Dark, moody, indoor editorial feel for luxury appeal
- Version B: Bright, soft-lit imagery for joy and approachability
- Both Leaderboard and Big Box formats were created to suit placements across web and mobile environments.
- Button placement and contrast were carefully considered to drive a high click-through rate.
Messaging & CTA:
- The headline served both storytelling and brand tone functions.
- Subheadlines introduced the offer concisely: “This year, you may wish to say ‘I Do’ with our boutique Elopement Package.”
- The CTA button was consistent in all versions: View Package, to guide users into the sales funnel.
Outcome
The assets were deployed across Google Display Network and Meta platforms, ensuring reach across travel, lifestyle, and bridal intent audiences. Versions were tested against one another for performance insights, and the modular nature allowed quick seasonal swaps or text updates without requiring new creative.
This project showcased the versatility of creative messaging when paired with performance marketing channels—reinforcing brand tone while driving measurable engagement.
