What they needed.

Lora Cai is a licensed RCIC-IRB immigration consultant based in Nanaimo, BC. When she launched her independent practice, she had strong credentials (RCIC-IRB licensing, an M.Ed from UNBC, a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen's) and no web presence. A regulated solo practice converts cold traffic only one way: by earning trust before the first conversation.

What we built.

A nine-page Webflow site, bilingual in English and Mandarin. Each service (Temporary Residence, Permanent Residence, Citizenship) has its own page so visitors go straight to what applies to them. RCIC-IRB and CAPIC credentials sit front and centre, a free assessment CTA with a 48-hour response commitment gives first-time visitors a low-friction starting point, and booking is available on every page so the step from question to call is never more than one click.

What changed.

Since launching in February 2025: 4,100 unique visitors, 32,000 search impressions across 671 queries, and 45 contact form submissions, all from a standing start with no prior web presence. The booking page is the second most visited page on the site. The assessment page drives the longest average session (2m 58s), meaning visitors are reading before they reach out. Mandarin search queries are converting too. The bilingual build brought organic traffic alongside the usability gains.
